Brief Description
The successful candidate will work alongside and learn from Technicians to assist with all levels of work passing through a very busy workshop. Together with use of iPads for recording jobs and relaying the information to the central garage management system.
Training to be Provided
- You will be required to attend Kidderminster College one day a week for your college classes to ensure you are meeting off the job requirements
- Autocare Technician Level 2
Future Prospects
Vehicle Technician, specialising in a chosen area whether diagnostics or mechanical, progress onto Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Vacancy Detail
- You will work with Technicians to learn skills and how to work safely in the workshop environment
- Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs of light vehicles
- Assisting customers and recording any jobs which are required
- You will learn how to assess and use technical data and wiring diagrams
- You will be required to keep work areas in a good and tidy manner and will progress to work in your own work bay when skills have been developed
Other Information
Stourbridge Automotive Ltd is currently expanding its work force and looking for other local locations so may require to work in different location at times. There also may be additional training which could require travel to those locations.
