Brief Description

Are you practical, motivated, and interested in working with, heavy vehicles and machinery? We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice HGV Mechanic to join our growing workshop team.

Qualifications Required

GCSE's grade C or 4 and above in English and Maths or FS Level 2 equivalent

Skills Required

• A strong interest in mechanics or vehicles
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
• Basic understanding of tools or vehicle maintenance is helpful but not essential

Training to be Provided

Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit’s Automotive Academy in Derby. There are a total of 16 x 1 week blocks over the 32 month programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.

You will also receive 1-2-1 support from your Development Coach to help you achieve:
• IMI Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3
