Brief Description

Training to be Provided
- Training with Milton Keynes College
- Ongoing training, support and development with the employer

Vacancy Detail
Responsibilities:
- Preparing the salon for the day, including setting up stations, preparing colours, organising perm/colour trolleys, and cutting foils Shampooing and conditioning clients’ hair
- Applying hair treatments
- Carrying out reception duties such as re-booking clients, answering the phone, and taking payments
- Delivering excellent customer service, including offering refreshments, taking coats, and gowning clients for services
- Assisting stylists by passing tools and materials as required
- Maintaining salon cleanliness, including dusting retail displays, mopping, and completing end-of-day cleaning tasks
- Blow drying clients’ hair (once competent and required unit is completed for insurance purposes)
- Applying toners (once competent and required unit is completed for insurance purposes)
- Being flexible to cover shifts in other salons during holidays and sickness
- Attending internal and external training courses as required
