Vacancy Detail


  • Learn how to develop, review and adapt person‑centred care plans, using your growing knowledge to support high‑quality care

  • Build advanced skills in monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure and heart rate, understanding how to record and report findings accurately

  • Gain confidence completing medication records and supporting safe medication practices in line with organisational procedures.

  • Plan, lead and evaluate meaningful activities that promote residents’ wellbeing, independence and social engagement

  • Develop communication skills by updating families on their relative’s progress in a supportive and professional way

  • Learn to supervise care workers, offering guidance, role‑modelling best practice and helping new starters settle into their roles

  • Be trained to provide emergency cover when required, following agreed ways of working and escalating concerns appropriately

  • Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings, learning how care is coordinated with healthcare professionals and service managers

  • Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check

  • Be a UK resident or living in the UK or EU for the last three years for apprenticeship eligibility

  • Some previous experience in care for this level 3
