Training to be Provided


  • 1:1 support in the workplace with a dedicated apprenticeship tutor

  • Workshops planned to suit the diary of all parties

Vacancy Detail


  • Develop communication skills by engaging with clients, learning about their backgrounds, interests and individual care needs

  • Learn to support personal care, including washing, dressing and promoting dignity and independence

  • Build practical skills in preparing meals, assisting with eating and supporting safe medication routines under supervision

  • Support clients to participate in physical, social and wellbeing activities as part of their care plan

  • Be trained to carry out routine health checks such as weight, temperature and blood pressure monitoring

  • Learn how to recognise and report any concerns about a client’s health or wellbeing to senior staff

  • Develop confidence in maintaining accurate care records and updating individual care plans in line with guidance

  • Be a UK resident or living in the UK or EU for the last three years for apprenticeship eligibility
