Brief Description
Rubbernek Fittings is seeking a machinist apprentice to join their modern machine shop. You will be trained to operate machines, read and understand technical documents and use measuring equipment. Once you have completed basic operator training, you will be trained on various cutting tools, machining techniques and setting of machines.
Training to be Provided
This is a Level 3 Machining apprenticeship, delivered over a 36-month period.
The apprentice will attend the training centre In-Comm Training Aldridge WS9 8UG, 2 and a half days per week for the first 14-months.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position within the company. The right candidate will be considered for higher positions when they become available. Further training and upskilling were necessary for the higher positions, when positions become available.
