Brief Description

To work within a busy Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, supporting customer networks, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. The role will provide hands-on experience in networking, Microsoft 365, cyber security, and technical support while working alongside experienced engineers.

You will have the chance to enter full-time employment upon completion, or move on to a Level 4 apprenticeship.

Vacancy Detail


  • Provide 1st Line technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote support tools.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 related issues.

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls.

  • Monitor customer networks and infrastructure, escalating issues where necessary.

  • Log, update, and manage support tickets within the service desk system.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the resolution process.

  • Assist with user account administration, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.

  • Support cyber security best practices, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), access management, and endpoint security.

  • Participate in customer site visits alongside senior engineers when required.

  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and customer environments accurately.

  • Work towards achieving industry-recognised technical certifications and apprenticeship objectives.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
