Brief Description
To work within a busy Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, supporting customer networks, cloud services, and IT infrastructure. The role will provide hands-on experience in networking, Microsoft 365, cyber security, and technical support while working alongside experienced engineers.

You will have the chance to enter full-time employment upon completion, or move on to a Level 4 apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Provide 1st Line technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network, connectivity, hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 related issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls.
- Monitor customer networks and infrastructure, escalating issues where necessary.
- Log, update, and manage support tickets within the service desk system.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the resolution process.
- Assist with user account administration, including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
- Support cyber security best practices, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), access management, and endpoint security.
- Participate in customer site visits alongside senior engineers when required.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and customer environments accurately.
- Work towards achieving industry-recognised technical certifications and apprenticeship objectives.

- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or networking concepts would be advantageous.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
