Working Week: Monday to Friday 7:45am-8am on site. Finish time between 4pm and 5pm depending on materials and weather. If the successful applicant is local to Bodmin, there may be an opportunity to receive a lift to site.
Brief Description
Marc Wills is offering an exciting opportunity to join his team as a Bricklayer Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain an insight into the industry.
Training to be Provided
You will be working towards a Level 2 Bricklayer Apprenticeship standard.
You will receive on and off the job training and support from an assessor and an apprenticeship advisor.
You will be required to attend Cornwall College St Austell on a weekly basis as part of the apprenticeship training.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be an opportunity for continued employment with the business and further development opportunities.

Responsibilities of the role will include:
- To be understanding all development of sub-structure to finish floor levels on new builds
- Mixing up mortar
- Loading out blocks, bricks and stone
- Block and beaming
- Laying blocks and bricks
- Learning DPC and radon details around soleplates
