As skills and experience develop, there will be opportunities to progress into senior fabrication roles, workshop supervision, site management, CAD/design support, or specialist metalwork positions. Ongoing training and professional development will be encouraged throughout your career.

- Assisting with metal fabrication and assembly projects
- Learning welding techniques and safe working practices
- Cutting, shaping, drilling, and finishing metal components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Operating workshop tools and machinery under supervision
- Measuring and marking materials accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Supporting experienced fabricators and welders on site and in the workshop
- Inspecting completed work for quality and accuracy
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
