Brief Description
Launch your engineering career with Baker Hughes through a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship in Electronic & Software Engineering. Gain hands-on experience designing, testing and developing embedded systems while building skills across hardware, software and systems engineering.
Training to be Provided
- Rotations across engineering departments (hardware, software, systems, manufacturing)
- Structured on-site training and project work
- Mentoring from experienced engineers
- Hands-on experience with real design and development projects
- Participation in community and team projects

Vacancy Detail
Daily Duties:
- Support design of electronic systems and circuits at component level
- Develop, write and document structured software code
- Assist with testing products and developing test plans
- Contribute to project planning (time, resources, contingencies)
- Work across hardware, embedded software and systems engineering
- Rotate through manufacturing, design and engineering teams
- Support fault finding, product validation and qualification
- Use engineering documentation, quality and HSE systems
