Brief Description
The Pilgrim School has an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in supporting secondary age young people in the classroom in an alternative setting. It would ideally suit a recent graduate who is interested in a career in an Education setting for the TA position, the apprentice would be training towards the Level 3 qualification
Training to be Provided
- The apprentice will work within the school setting and undertake the formal qualification with Boston College, which may consist of college days throughout the apprenticeship

Vacancy Detail
- To work with individual children having special or particular needs in accordance with the child's statement where appropriate and/or groups of children asdirected by the teacher
- To provide support to the Headteacher/Teacher across a range of child centered activities to promote child development and learning
- Participate in preperation of the classroom
- Monitor children's need and reporting these to a designated person
- Act in accordance with school policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection and behaviour management
