Brief Description
Learning all aspects involved in the installation of hard landscaping projects including modular and slab paving, walling, groundworks and drainage. Installations cover using a wide range of paving products including natural and reclaimed stone.
Training to be Provided
- An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
- You will be expected to work towards the Groundworker Level 2 qualification, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
- Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date
Future Prospects
May lead on to a full time job after the apprenticeship is completed.
Vacancy Detail
- You will work as part of a small team, learning all aspects involved in the installation of hard landscaping projects including modular and slab paving, walling, fencing, groundworks and drainage
- Installations cover working with a wide range of hard landscaping materials and paving products
- The physical work is a demanding mixture of lifting, carrying, digging, moving, measuring etc.
- Working outdoors in all weathers
Other Information
Must be able to travel to Swanwick address for 7.30am every morning or to independently travel to work locations across Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire, for the 8.00am start.
