Brief Description

You will develop essential financial, administrative and organisational skills while supporting the day-to-day activities of our finance function. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced colleagues and supporting a range of financial processes that help the organisation operate effectively.


 

Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship teaching and learning sessions will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams remotely face to face on an individual basis with your Tutor at least once a month. You will undertake learning on-the-job with the organisation in the workplace.

Future Prospects

Upon successful completion of the level 2 accounts/finance apprenticeship you will have achieved a national qualification which is recognised through the industry and there may be the opportunity to progress to the level 3 qualification.

Vacancy Detail

As an Accounts Apprentice, you will:



  • Process invoices, purchase orders and financial documents accurately.

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

  • Maintain accurate financial records and update accounting systems.

  • Support with bank reconciliations and general ledger tasks.

  • Assist with preparing financial reports and spreadsheets.

  • Process payments and monitor outstanding balances where required.

  • Maintain organised electronic and paper-based filing systems.

  • Respond to finance-related queries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Support month-end processes and other routine finance activities.

  • Ensure financial information is handled confidentially and in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
