Brief Description
Provenair Sales Ltd are a sheet metal manufacturer specialising in ventilation equipment. We will gradually introduce and train you on a range of both hand and power tools and teach you to understand drawings to enable you to manufacture the required components.
Training to be Provided
- Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship qualification in Metal Fabrication.
- The course is delivered as a day release.
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Future Prospects
- Successful completion of the apprenticeship modules may result in the offer of a full-time position.
- This is providing the apprentice works within the company rules and guidelines which will be explained during their induction.
Vacancy Detail
- The processes and techniques required to manufacture the different rectangular and circular ductwork components.
- To read and understand CAD manufacture drawings.
- To safely and effectively operate a range of both hand and power tools, including but not limited to; Mezz Saw, Grinder, Box and Pan Folder, Spot Welder etc.
Other Information
The work is physical and involves lifting and moving fabricated parts during production. The work is mostly undertaken whilst standing up.
