Working Week: Monday to Saturday. Mondays and Wednesdays have longer opening hours on a rota basis; occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.
Brief Description
This is an excellent opportunity to begin a rewarding career in dentistry within a busy and supportive dental practice. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join a dedicated team of dental professionals as a Dental Nurse Apprentice.
Training to be Provided
ASA Training Ltd offers flexible online training delivery, allowing individuals to learn at times that suit their personal schedules.
All learners receive access to a range of online resources, including revision tools tailored to their specific qualification units, as well as practice exam questions to support exam preparation.
Key Features:
- Year-round enrolment
- Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3
- Functional Skills in English and maths (if required)
- Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard.

Preparing and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment - Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in accordance with practice protocols
- Mixing and preparing dental materials as required
- Recording treatments and updating patient records using dental software
- Following strict cross-infection control and health and safety procedures
- Assisting with the development and processing of digital radiographs (x-rays)
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels within the surgery
- Supporting reception duties, including answering calls and administrative tasks
- Working as part of a professional dental team to deliver excellent patient care
