Brief Description
As an Apprentice Decorator you will assist our current tradesman on our Fareham Borough Council contract in conducting a range of Painting and Decorating repairs in occupied homes, buildings and empty properties. The work will include all types of preparation, emulsion, gloss painting, wallpaper hanging, spray painting and Artex repairs.
Training to be Provided
You will work alongside your mentor for four days per week and attend South Hampshire College Group at the Southampton site for one day a week, to study and pass a Level 2 Painter & Decorator Apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship will be a 2-year programme made up of 80% work-based learning and 20% off the job training.
Future Prospects
After completing a Painting and Decorating Level 2 Apprenticeship, you will become a qualified Painter and Decorator, working independently or as part of a decorating team.
