Brief Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanic Apprentice to join our busy workshop team at Whitestar Travel. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in vehicle maintenance and repairs who is looking to start a rewarding career in the motor industry.
Training to be Provided
- Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician - light vehicle Level 3
- Day release at Sunderland College
Future Prospects
There will be the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
Working alongside experienced mechanics, you'll gain hands-on experience in:
- Assisting with servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of cars and light commercial vehicles
- Learning how to carry out vehicle diagnostics, identify faults and use specialist diagnostic equipment
- Completing routine safety inspections, oil changes, brake repairs and other general maintenance tasks
- Using workshop tools and equipment safely while keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised
- Working alongside the team to ensure all vehicles are repaired to a high standard and are safe and ready for customers
