Brief Description
We are looking for a bright, hardworking and enthusiastic person to assist our hire desk team in delivering a first class service to our customers. In return we will teach you everything you need to know to start your career with with a business who puts its people first.
Training to be Provided
This is a blended delivery model. This means that some of your learning will be in person in the workplace with your designated training specialist and some will be online.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship their are progression routes within the company that may involve additional learning opportunities. It is hoped this apprenticeship will be the start of a long term career with MGF.
Vacancy Detail
You will receive full training in all areas of your job role.
Duties will include:
- Assist the hire desk team with processing customer enquiries and converting enquiries into hire orders
- Receive and process equipment hire requests and collection requests
- Support the planning and scheduling of transport for equipment, deliveries and collections
- Help coordinate internal and external haulage providers to ensure efficient equipment movement
- Prepare and issue hire quotations for customers under the guidance of experienced team members
- Maintain accurate records and complete hire desk administration tasks
- Assist with processing damage reports and gathering information relating to damaged equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding hires, collections, quotes and queries
- Develop your knowledge of MGF products, equipment, transport and planning and customer service processes
