Brief Description

Minster Financial Management is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IFA Administrator Apprentice. You’ll work alongside experienced directors, advisers and administrators, gaining an insight into different areas of financial services.

Training to be Provided

The Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service Practitioner includes:



  • Level 2 Standard in Customer Service Practitioner 

  • Level 1 Functional Skills in Mathematics

  • Level 1 Functional Skills in English


You will attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will develop your customer service knowledge and skills, and work towards any functional skills that you have to take. An End Point Assessment is also included as part of the programme.

Upon successful completion, there may be opportunities for permanent employment, career progression within the company, or progression onto higher-level qualifications or further education.

  • Answering telephone calls and developing professional telephone etiquette.

  • Speaking with clients and financial product providers.

  • Scanning, organising and managing important documents.

  • Supporting the directors, advisers and administrators with day-to-day tasks and projects.

  • Using their back-office systems and CRM, including data cleansing and maintaining accurate records.

  • Assisting with the submission and processing of new financial business.

  • Supporting the accounts function when required, including invoicing.

  • Taking meeting minutes and helping to keep accurate records.

  • Writing professional letters and emails to clients.

  • Using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, to support the business.

  • Developing your awareness of cyber security and completing relevant training.

  • Learning about financial products and the wider financial services industry, if this is an area you are interested in.
