Training to be Provided
Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 apprenticeship qualification and on the job training in the workplace.
Future Prospects
A fully qualified Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Apprentice would naturally join one of our four shift teams as a line engineer, responsible for the day to day running of the plant, encompassing all mechanical equipment used in aluminium can manufacturing. Line engineers are generally selected to join the workshop engineering team when vacancies arise. Longer term the opportunity could lead to Engineering Supervisor, then Engineering Manager and then Snr engineering roles with group.

This apprenticeship provides the perfect opportunity to join a high-performing global engineering team, learning great career skills from a global engineering market leader along the way. In partnership with Milton Keynes College, you will have the opportunity to study towards a Technical Support Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship. As part of the program the candidate will attend college on a day release basis.
Other Information
As part of their apprenticeship, the successful candidate will complete off the job training - dedicated learning that takes place during paid working hours and focuses on developing the skills and knowledge needed for the role. Within the role, you must be able to wear the required PPE - bump cap, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and uniform. The working environment is noisy and fast paced.
