Brief Description
As a Domiciliary Carer at New Living, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised, compassionate care and support to our clients in their own homes. You will assist individuals with a wide range of daily living activities, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Future Prospects
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be opportunities to progress into a Care Worker or Support Worker role. With further experience and training, there is potential to progress into Senior Care Worker, Lead Adult Care Worker or Team Leader positions.

Role-Specific Duties (Delivering Direct Care):
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene routines, including washing, bathing, showering, dressing, grooming
- Administering or prompting medication safely and accurately
- Supporting clients with safe moving and handling, transfers, and mobility
- Planning and preparing nutritious and appealing meals
- Assisting with general tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean environment
- Providing a friendly, empathetic presence and emotional support
- Providing targeted support for clients with specific conditions
