Working Week: 39 hours per week + overtime throughout the year.
Brief Description
We are a potato & beetroot farm spread across the UK. We grow approx.. 1000ha of potatoes in East Anglia on rented land. Within this apprenticeship you will be based with the potato team in Norfolk. Our aim is to train you to the highest levels in potato growing, from planting all the way through to storage.
Training to be Provided
24 months, depending on the candidate (this includes the End Point
Assessment period)
Location Easton campus (NR9 5DX)
Responsibilities
- College delivery for the standard and qualification (CCN & apprentice)
- Apprentice Development Plan (CCN & apprentice)
- Workplace Reviews at least every 12 weeks (employer, CCN & apprentice)
- Workplace visits to build evidence/ portfolio (employer, CCN & apprentice)
- Off-the-Job Training (employer, CCN & apprentice)- 348 hours minimum over the course of the apprenticeship

Delivery pattern
- The release pattern for this course is a block week.
- Additional sessions (including examinations) may be run in holiday periods if needed and by prior agreement with the apprentice and employer.
