Working Week: On rota basis between 8.00am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday mornings, 9.00am- 12 noon. Two apprenticeship positions (one has already been filled) Working alternate morning and afternoon shifts, on a rotating weekly basis.
Brief Description
Pear Tree Pharmacy is a busy community pharmacy in Derby providing NHS and private pharmacy services to the local community are recruiting for a Level 2 Customer Service Apprentice. They focus on friendly, professional customer service and support patients with prescriptions, healthcare advice and a growing range of pharmacy services.
Training to be Provided
- Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship
- Support with English and maths skills gaps
- Work based learning
- End point assessment
Future Prospects
- There may be an opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate with further training and development within community pharmacy
Vacancy Detail
- Welcome customers and patients and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Serve customers at the pharmacy counter and respond to routine enquiries appropriately
- Support prescription collection and help direct patients to the pharmacist when advice is required
- Process till transactions and handle payments accurately
- Help maintain stock levels, receive deliveries, replenish shelves and keep displays tidy
- Support the team with general administrative and day-to-day pharmacy duties
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy procedures at all times
- Complete the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship alongside practical workplace training
