Brief Description
The main purpose of a Warehouse Operative is to manage the movement of goods across all sectors and distances for a range of customers, from private individuals to sole traders and through to large global organisations. They have a passion for meeting customers' expectations by providing a quality service that encourages repeat business.
Training to be Provided
Your programme will be approximately 8-14 months in duration, and you will receive workshops in the following areas:
WORKSHOPS:
- Health and safety in a warehouse environment
- Teamwork and building relationships
- Receipt, control, storage, and dispatch of goods/stock
- Task organisation
- Safe use of equipment, vehicles, and machinery
- Goods flow Product handling
- Environment and sustainability
- IT and digital
- Stock control
- Communication Equality and Diversity
- Teamwork
The EPA consists of an: Interview with portfolio of evidence and observation with questions
