Brief Description
Our Private Clients team helps high net-worth individuals protect some of their most valuable possessions such a luxury homes and high performance vehicles. As an apprentice, you'll learn how we work closely with clients to understand their needs and arrange tailored insurance solutions at a competitive price.
Future Prospects
Our apprentices join Howden on permanent contracts from day one. After successfully completing the 18-month programme, you'll transition out of the apprenticeship and continue developing your skills, expertise and career within your chosen area of the business.

- Learn the foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance, and how an Account Handler supports clients
- Build your confidence speaking with clients and understanding their individual insurance needs
- Help the team manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find appropriate insurance solutions for clients
- Learn how to manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information
- Learn how amendments to insurance policies are managed as well as the policy renewals process
- Develop strong relationships and provide a professional and personal service
- Support with maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
