Brief Description
Webster Wilkinson is looking for a motivated apprentice to join our team and learn the welding trade. You’ll work alongside experienced welders and fabricators, building real skills on real projects while earning a wage and gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Training to be Provided
This is a Level 2 Welding apprenticeship. The apprentice will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services, in Telford, TF3 3AJ, 1 day per week for 2 years.
Future Prospects
- Further training may be offered to the correct candidate once this qualification has been achieved
Vacancy Detail
Day to day duties will include:

Learning to weld using [MIG / TIG / MMA] processes in a range of materials

Reading and following engineering drawings and welding procedures

Preparing materials, including cutting, grinding and fit-up
Working safely at all times, following health and safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE -
Checking your own work to the required quality standards

Keeping your workspace clean and tidy

Supporting the wider fabrication team as needed
