Training to be Provided
The programme is delivered through blended learning, combining online and face-to-face teaching during yearly Summer Schools at our Canterbury Campus. Online learning takes place through the Moodle virtual learning environment,
Future Prospects
- Laboratory Analyst: conducting chemical analysis and testing on various substances, analysing chemical composition, identifying contaminants, or evaluating product quality.
- Quality Assurance Specialist: responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of chemical products and processes.
- Laboratory Technician: Maintaining cleanliness and sterility and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Vacancy Detail
Join our team as an Analytical Laboratory Apprentice, where you will maintain our laboratories, ensuring they meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
You will develop essential lab skills, from basic practices to advanced pharmaceutical analysis, as you progress through the apprenticeship.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining glassware, ordering consumables, setting up and calibrating equipment, and accurately recording test results.
You’ll also handle administrative tasks, attend external academic courses and complete university assignments on time.
This role offers hands-on experience in both GMP and non GMP projects, with increasing responsibilities as your knowledge and skills grow.
