Brief Description
Our client, MCS Waste Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator Apprentice (Level 3). You will support the day-to-day running of a busy waste management business, developing valuable skills in administration, customer service, communication, data management, and office systems.
Training to be Provided
Ignite Sport will deliver the training virtually and in the workplace.

- Answering telephone and email enquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, suppliers, and members of the public.
- Maintaining accurate customer and company records using internal systems.
- Preparing quotations, reports, letters, and business documents.
- Supporting the scheduling and coordination of waste collection and operational activities.
- Processing invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative paperwork.
- Updating spreadsheets, databases, and company management systems.
- Filing, scanning, and archiving documentation in line with company procedures.
- Assisting with compliance and health & safety administration.
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Supporting the team with data entry and producing management reports.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting notes when required.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring enquiries are responded to promptly.
- Working with different departments to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.
- Developing knowledge of business administration processes while working towards a level 3 qualification.
Other Information
You must hold a current UK Driving Licence.
