Brief Description
Little Giggles Academy, Chatham are seeking an early years practitioner who can multi task being a Disney Princess one moment and a spaceman the next. Children love to share their imagination with you and love being silly. Someone who can give the best biggest cuddles when required. A dedication for children.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.

Vacancy Detail
As an apprentice, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working alongside a supportive team and developing new skills in a real-world setting. Your role will involve multi-tasking and staying calm under pressure—whether it’s pushing one child on the swings or playing football with another. Being punctual and reliable is essential, as the children will be excited to see you each day. You’ll work closely with a fantastic team to deliver inspiring learning activities, provide safe and engaging play opportunities both indoors and outdoors, and ensure the well-being of every child. Responsibilities also include recording accidents, reporting any safety concerns, and communicating with parents and carers about their child’s day. The position offers a starting salary from £6.40 per hour, depending on age and experience, along with benefits such as discounted childcare and a pension scheme.
