Brief Description
McAshwey Stud is a busy and professional yard focusing on both competition and stud horses. They are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join their team and uphold the highest standards of horse care and yard management.
Training to be Provided
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Future Prospects
Possibility of a full-time position for the right candidate.
Vacancy Detail
- Daily care and management of competition and stud horses
- Leading horses to and from the walker, paddocks and stables
- General yard duties including mucking out, grooming, tack cleaning, feeding and turning out
- Assisting with handling mare, foals and youngstock
- Supporting the team at competition and shows when required
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across the yard and horses
