Working Week: Monday to Saturday between 9.00am - 7.30pm shift work, typically 5 hours across 5 days. Sessions where the successful candidates work are broken into 2 hrs sessions, 1.5 hr sessions.
Brief Description
The Coach will be responsible for supporting sports coaching sessions and managing different age groups. Working in schools, nurseries, parks and other institutions to deliver high-quality sports provision.
Training to be Provided
- Level 2 Community Activator Coach Standard
- Highfield Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English (if necessary)
- Bespoke training programme that meets the standard criteria and is suitable to the employer and the requirements for the role

- Preparing and delivering sport and physical activity sessions.

- Promoting activities and projects via on-street leafleting
- Working collaboratively with Senior Management & Team Leaders to successfully carry out a timetable
- Working effectively with the young people to support them overcome individual and societal barriers to participation in sport and physical activity
- Being an effective team player when delivering community sports events and festivals

- The role is a flexible one and in this role individuals can expect to work varied and unsociable hours, including evenings / weekends, and during school holiday periods
- It is unlikely individuals will undertake a regular daily work pattern or set of recurring tasks
