Working Week: Monday - Thursday, 08.00 - 16:30, Friday, 07.30am - 12:30pm Candidates who are over 18 may be eligible to work condensed hours.
Brief Description
A fabricator will produce work made from thick metal plates and structural steel sections, such as columns and beams, using a wide range of tools and equipment. This will contribute to projects for large-scale buildings such as the Nuclear Power plant at Hinkley Point C - which is currently the largest construction site in Europe.
Training to be Provided
- You will attend Derwent Training Association on a day-release basis, completing your Level 3 qualification over 48-months
- You will follow a learning plan in the workplace, supported by a mentor
- Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
Future Prospects
- Once qualified, you will become a fabricator welder and depending on your progress, you might have the opportunity for progression within the business
Vacancy Detail
