Brief Description
Harling Wood Stud in Thetford are looking for a new member of staff to add to their team, boasting some of the finest facilities along with first class service in their livery and equestrian wellness centre. You would be working with top-class competition horses and ones needing rehabilitation.
Training to be Provided
Equine Groom Level 2.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
Future Prospects
- Progression to Level 3 senior groom
- Possibility of permanent position on completion of apprenticeship
Vacancy Detail
All general yard duties include:
- Mucking out
- Turning out and bringing in
- Field maintenance
- Grooming, tacking up
- Possibility of riding for the right candidate

There is no accommodation available with this role so you will need to be able to get yourself to and from work at the required times.
This position would suit a confident rider who is able to school and jump livery horses of varying ages, heights and breeds.
