About the Role


Rehability UK is offering an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprentice to join their community care team based in Dunton Bassett.


This apprenticeship provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in adult social care while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification.


You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex care requirements, helping them live independently and participate in their communities.

Key Responsibilities



  • Provide practical and emotional support to individuals in the community

  • Assist service users with daily living tasks and personal care where required

  • Encourage individuals to develop independence and life skills

  • Support participation in community activities and social engagement

  • Follow individual care plans and risk assessments

  • Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to senior staff

  • Promote health, safety and well-being at all times

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and organisational policies

  • Work alongside experienced support workers while completing apprenticeship training


Working Hours


This is a full-time position, with shifts varying depending on service needs.


Typical shift patterns may include:


7:00am – 3:00pm
9:00am – 5:00pm
8:00am – 8:00pm
8:00pm – 8:00am (night shifts)
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and night shifts is required.

You will work towards the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, developing skills in:



  • Person-centred care

  • Safeguarding and duty of care

  • Communication and professional practice

  • Supporting independence and well-being
