Join DRJ Crew as an Events Admin & Recruiter Apprentice! Qualifications Required

5 GCSEs in Maths and English 4/C or above

Key Responsibilities
Administration & Office Support
Answer incoming calls professionally and direct queries to the right team.
Maintain accurate crew records, schedules, and documentation.
Support payroll, invoicing, and reporting tasks.
Produce simple reports on attendance, availability, and operational performance.
Assist with general office tasks such as filing, emails, and data entry.

Events & Logistics Support
Help allocate crew to jobs according to skills, availability, and client requirements.
Assist with inductions, site access, and passes for crew members.
Support contingency planning and last-minute schedule changes.
Learn to manage stock, equipment, and resources for events.

Team & Client Support
Act as a point of contact for crew members and clients.
Support the management team in maintaining engagement, attendance, and reliability standards.
Observe and assist with resolving any performance or operational issues.

You will learn how to manage communications, schedules, documentation, and reporting—developing skills essential for a future career in office administration or event operations.

You will be working in a role where responsiveness matters: phones need answering promptly, early starts may be required, and plans can change at short notice. This is a great first stepping stone for someone who enjoys working hands-on, problem-solving, and supporting a busy operational team. You will be asked to attend different sites to make sure the crew is performing well, delegate tasks if needed.

Other Information

This apprenticeship is not a standard 9–5 role. Core office hours are Monday–Friday, but early mornings, evenings, and peak-season flexibility may be required, with some days starting as early as 7 a.m. The work is fast-paced and unpredictable, so adaptability, resilience, and strong organisation are essential. You will be expected to answer calls promptly, manage multiple tasks, support team coordination, and handle administrative duties.
