Brief Description
Magna Cosma Castings are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to join their Maintenance team. You will develop a range of technical skills while working closely with Plant Management and customers, with opportunities to gain experience in areas such as Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Projects, and Maintenance Reliability.
Training to be Provided
This is a Level 3 Mechatronics apprenticeship, delivered over a 30 month period.
The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Telford, TF3 3AJ, for the first 10 months.
Future Prospects
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available and potential to progress on to a L4 HNC qualification.
Vacancy Detail
Daily/Weekly Tasks:
- Promote and follow the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies across the department and plant.
- Work alongside trained engineers on the shop floor to support manufacturing operations.
- Assist with maintenance tasks within various departments
- Work closely with your assigned mentor to develop engineering and maintenance skills.
- Support plant activities while working with Plant Management and Customers.
- Ensure work supports high standards of cost, quality, and delivery.
- Follow and adhere to all Health and Safety procedures while carrying out tasks.
Other Information
The ideal candidate does not need to have any prior experience but should have an interest in Engineering.
