Working Week: Monday to Friday. 7.5 hours per day, plus 30 minutes for lunch. Hours are normally 8.30am to 4.30pm. One day per week college (in term time).
Brief Description
We have opportunities for an accounts apprentice to join our Chard office. The successful candidate will study towards the AAT qualification via day release study.
The position is 37.5 hours per week including one day per week attending college during term time. 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
Training to be Provided
Training will provided on the job and one day a week at college (in term time).
Future Prospects
After completing Level 3 AAT, there will be the opportunity to progress to Level 4 AAT.

Responsibilities include:
- General administration to support the team
- Preparation of accounts
- Providing bookkeeping services
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Working as part of a team to provide excellent service to our clients
- Attend college, undertake course work and complete exams
- Undertake, collate and gather evidence of OTJTR (off the job training requirements) as stipulated by the AAT
- Any other associated and/or ad-hoc tasks and duties
