Brief Description
An apprentice engineer leading to a career as a multi-skilled engineer /process control engineer.
To learn the knowledge and apply practical skills that will enable the post holder to become a valued and fully trained member of the maintenance team at the end of the apprenticeship period.
Training to be Provided
The apprenticeship follows a 4-year programme, with the first year spent off the job at CATCH in Stallingborough. This would be Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4pm.
The remainder of the apprenticeship is then completed on-site with the employer.
Future Prospects
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
You will have developed a variety of interchangeable skills and have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing and processes.
Vacancy Detail
Providing maintenance support to production to ensure that equipment operates effectively and safely. This includes providing scheduled preventative maintenance, first line servicing, calibration and acceptance testing, on a range of electrical, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment.
