Working Week: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm. The working hours will be within this time period. Days to be agreed upon.
Brief Description
The apprentice will provide high-quality all-round care and education to children in our setting. You will assist with daily activities and routines. Planning and implementing activities. Building relationships with families, parents and carers.
Training to be Provided
- Early Years Educator Level 3
- Training will include paediatric first aid qualification
Future Prospects
This role may lead to a permanent position for the right person with a positive attitude and commitment to work.
We currently have two deputy managers that started out some years ago as apprentices.
Vacancy Detail
The following are the core responsibilities of the apprentice. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels:
- Adhere to nursery guidelines and policies and procedures
- Have the ability to work patiently, calmly and effectively as part of a team
- To follow the safeguarding and child protection procedures to keep all children safe
- Understand the needs of all our children and respond accordingly
- Have good communication skills and have the ability to follow instructions efficiently
- Willing to attend courses and workshops
