Working Week: The apprentice will be working 30 hours a week Monday to Friday between the settings opening hours of 06.00 - 20.00.
Brief Description
We are currently looking to recruit a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice to join us at Tops Day Nurseries to complete their Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship at our nursery based in Poole. The nursery runs a number of extra-curricular activities, including Tops Forest School, cooking school, yoga, and much more!
Training to be Provided
- Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship standard.
- Functional Skills Level 2 English.
- Functional Skills Level 2 Maths.
Future Prospects
- Potential to gain permanent employment within the setting.
- May be able to progress onto achieving the Level 3 Early Years Educator Childcare Apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Assist in providing a safe environment for children.
- Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery.
- Assist in ensuring the unit is clean and tidy, and assist in meal preparation.
- Assist colleagues with developing and maintaining good relationships.
- Taking children on trips out and assisting with picking up from school.
- Able to support children’s behaviour and act as a role model.
- Support in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate including layout, display of resources.
