Brief Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Administrator Apprentice to join our Recruitment Team. This is a varied role where you will gain experience across all aspects of the recruitment process. You will develop a broad skill set and benefit from excellent progression opportunities within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Training to be Provided

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration consisting of:



  • Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable)

  • Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)


You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC, where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. Additional off-the-job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship. There will also be an end-point assessment. 

Future Prospects

After the apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.

  • Conduct telephone interviews with candidates

  • Process applications for apprenticeships

  • Write and update candidate CVs

  • Support the team in sourcing candidates for vacancies

  • Communicate with employers regarding Apprenticeship opportunities

  • Arrange interviews for candidates

  • Advertise roles on online job boards

  • Send and receive compliance documentation for apprenticeships

  • Assist with health and safety management, including completing assessments with employers and gathering required legal paperwork

  • Build relationships with local schools and colleges to support apprenticeship referrals

  • Attend careers events (once trained and if able to drive) to promote opportunities

  • Carry out general administrative tasks (filing, photocopying, emailing, scanning)
