Brief Description
This is an exciting opportunity where you will be part of a homely, warm, caring and flexible environment helping to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5.
Training to be Provided
You'll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month - NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including risk management, key person & attachment, learning & development, and more! You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.

- Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times
- Supporting the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Engaging with children through play, conversation, and educational activities to foster their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating environment suitable for young children
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations within the nursery
- Supporting with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating children's progress records
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for children and staff
- Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training
