Brief Description
A fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in building a career in childcare to develop their knowledge & skills whilst working within a friendly and supportive setting. We will provide full training and support to enable the successful candidate to achieve their Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship.
Training to be Provided
Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be
planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet
the individual needs of the apprentice.
The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job
activities and training.
On the job and off the job training will be delivered in the
workplace.
Future Prospects
Progression onto the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship and continue working at the setting.
Vacancy Detail
- Supporting children’s play and learning activities, helping them develop language, social skills, and confidence through structured and free play
- Assisting with daily care routines such as feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and helping children settle at rest times
- Observing children’s development and recording progress under the guidance of a qualified practitioner
- Helping to set up and tidy learning environments, including preparing resources and activities
- Supporting meal and snack times, encouraging good manners and independence
- Working as part of a team to follow safeguarding, health & safety, and early years framework requirements
