Working Week: Monday - Thursday, 08.00 - 17.00. Friday, 08.00 - 13.30. 39.5 hours a week.
Brief Description
Established in 1982, ASH are currently looking for a Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice to join their Production team. Duties will include carrying out manufacturing tasks, training to use a variety of machines, materials and chemicals, assessing quality, and more.
Training to be Provided
- 1 Day a week at College
- The rest of the training will take place in the work place
Future Prospects
There will be a full-time position available for the right candidate on completion.
Vacancy Detail
- Gain knowledge of a variety of plastic materials, including Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PETG and HIPS
- Undertake training which will include solvent gluing, UV Gluing, heat bending, drilling, diamond polishing and assembly
- Training will include reading technical drawings
- General housekeeping and maintaining of Health and Safety
- Any other duties associated with the job role
