Brief Description
The role of a vehicle service technician is to maintain, service and repair vehicles to a consistently high standard. This apprenticeship programme is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career with Ford. Duties include servicing vehicles by carrying out checks and maintenance, and repairing and replacing faulty parts.
Training to be Provided
- The programme lasts for at least 36 months (3 years) and you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
- All our apprentices are employed through the dealer network and attend week-long block training at our state-of-the-art training centre in Stewartby.
- Block training is complemented by a combination of regular coaching visits from one of our experienced coaches, as well as Virtual Classroom sessions and E-Learning modules.
- Your development is supported throughout your apprenticeship journey, with your learning focused towards achieving qualifications recognised across the motor industry, including Level 2 Auto Care and Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle).
- This will provide the foundation to develop your career, as there are many opportunities within our expanding dealer network to progress into new roles once you have successfully completed the programme.
- Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation.

Vacancy Detail
