Brief Description
This Level 2 apprenticeship is an ideal starting point for anyone wanting a career in pharmacy. You’ll work in a real pharmacy setting while gaining the skills and knowledge to support safe and effective handling of medicines as part of a professional team.
Training to be Provided
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard.
Training will take place at the workplace; there is no need to travel to a college.
Future Prospects
Permanent opportunity as a Qualified Dispenser. Potential to progress to Level 3 Pharmacy Technician.
Vacancy Detail
You’ll learn to support:
- The supply, preparation and assembly of medicines
- Assist with stock control
- Handle customer enquiries
- Follow pharmacy law, SOPs and safety requirements
- You will work under supervision while developing core pharmacy service skills
