Brief Description
An Autocare Technician requires a unique combination of technical, retail and customer services skills. They will use a range of tools, measuring and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair simple system faults.
Training to be Provided
Autocare Technician Level 2.
Future Prospects
On completion of the level 2 apprenticeship the suitable candidate would then be considered for progression onto the level 3 advanced apprenticeship.
Vacancy Detail
- Completing general vehicle servicing
- Maintenance tasks including in time more complex tasks such as head gaskets
- Cambelt renewal
- MOT repairs
- This role will also involve the successful candidate attending Skills Group one day per week for the duration of the apprenticeship
