Brief Description

Join our in-house construction team as a Construction Management Apprentice and gain hands-on experience across live development projects. You will support site operations, contractor coordination, health and safety, planning and project delivery while working towards a recognised Level 4 qualification.

Training to be Provided

The apprentice will complete a combination of on-the-job training at our Exeter office and structured learning with Exeter College. Training will take place in the workplace and at college on a day-release basis, typically one day per week.

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of construction sites and live development projects

  • Support Site Managers and the wider construction team with project coordination

  • Monitor health and safety compliance and encourage safe working practices on site

  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers and subcontractors regarding site activities

  • Help monitor project progress against programme timelines and report updates

  • Assist with quality inspections and ensure works are completed to required standards

  • Support with site records, documentation and reporting

  • Attend site meetings and contribute to project discussions

  • Assist with planning, logistics and organisation of site operations

  • Support the team with tracking costs and project budgets where required

Other Information

Applicants may be invited to attend a short-paid trial week during the next half term or summer holidays. This will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the role, meet the team and better understand the day-to-day responsibilities before starting the apprenticeship.
