Brief Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Plumber/Gas Fitter Apprentice to work for Hartlepool Borough Council in the provision of the diverse range of domestic and commercial gas fitting, mechanical services and ventilation, heating engineering and associated works provided by the Construction Division.
Training to be Provided
- Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician
- This will be completed on a weekly day release basis

- The successful candidate on completion of their apprenticeship will have the opportunity to apply for any related vacancies as and when they arise
Vacancy Detail
Work in the provision of the diverse range of domestic & commercial gas fitting, mechanical services & ventilation, heating engineering including:
- Responsive repairs to heating installations (inc. emergencies)
- Cyclical/servicing maintenance programmes
- Periodic testing to heating installations
- Gas installation safety inspections to occupied & vacant buildings
- Renewal of heating appliances/installations
- Diagnostic fault finding on heating appliances/installations
- Associated electrical fault diagnosis
