Brief Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual who is looking to learn and develop their skills and career opportunities within Fabrication and Welding.
Training to be Provided
Training will be delivered one day a week at:
- Alliance Learning
- Horwich Business Park
- Chorley New Road
- Horwich, Bolton
- BL6 5UE

Vacancy Detail
Responsibilities / Activities:
- You will work alongside experienced welders / fitters to gain an understanding of the various skills involved in welding / fabricating
- You will perform activities independently, but with close supervision
- Be able to understand and adhere to all health and safety rules regarding all aspects of the workshop
- Carry out such duties as may be required from time to time at the request of line management and which are deemed to be within your capability
Duties:
- Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
- Cutting of materials to precise measurements
- Drilling of materials where specified on the drawings
- Use of all M.I.G welding techniques
- Use of all fabricating techniques
Other Information
This is a very hands on and manual position so the ideal candidate needs to be able to get stuck in and willing to do what is needed to have the job done within health and safety regulations.
